About

It is not enough for evaluation to be methodologically rigorous. That is necessary but not sufficient to learn about what works for different groups of people. Including different groups of people in the samples studied is a start but without having evaluation methods targeted toward the needs, issues and goals of different subgroups, the results can be incomplete and even inaccurate. This website is set up to provide easy to use tips to design, implement and assess the quality of evaluations on programs and projects to improve the quality, quantity and diversity of the STEM workforce. However, most of the tips and other information can be of use to a broad range of researchers and evaluators and those who fund them.

The website, grew out of the work of Eric Jolly, PhD, President and Chief Executive Officer of Minnesota Philanthropy Partners, formerly President of the Science Museum of Minnesota, and Patricia B. Campbell, PhD, President and Tom K. Kibler, Vice-President of Campbell-Kibler Associates, Inc.

For questions or more information contact Dr. Campbell (Campbell@campbell-kibler.com).

Beyond Rigor owes its existence to many people and we wish to acknowledge their help and thank them.
